As an avid watcher of Suits (Final season kinda sucked tho) I gotta say that finding out she was becoming royalty made 100% sense. She is absolutely regal, and also personable and inspirational in a way that reminds me of Princess Diana.

I was told to stop saying Bro because it is too gendered.  I honestly believe it is NOT gendered, especially when used as a filler word, but I also respect others opinions.  I’ve had an INCREDIBLY hard time taking it out of my vernacular.  No success whatsoever. I find myself reflexively saying it in response.  Like

yeah why call them feminists? Or why even call them non-feminists? Just call them Right Wing Conservatives. Otherwise it invites a debate and makes it seem like feminists are divided. They aren’t - okay so yeah they are when it comes to WOC, but my point is TERF and SWERF are not feminsts. Putting “feminist” in the

yeah I used to live in a very remote rural town. I remember well.... If there’s anywhere where civil war will break out.......

I had to stop watching because it was the catalyst to bring my depression BACK.  The show is great but wow it made me fall deep into a hole.

I don’t know about “weird”. It’s painting a broad brush though...

I watch the tier system in street fighter shift dramatically when one person comes in with a low tier character and mops the floor. The entire meta shifts. Fighting game pro players just have too much tunnel vision and they do everything they can to remove imagination and innovation in an effort to gate keep. Yeah

That showed nothing...

I actually know quite a lot about competitive gaming, though I’ll admit I’m not especially good at most fighting games. I tended to do better with shooters. Regardless though, making the comparison with MMA is a little absurd because humans don’t have move sets. Some have tells but they aren’t always 100% reliable and

smash players are so precious. They want everything hyper optimized to make the game completely unsurprising. First they cut down to no items. Then they cut down stages to Final Destination. Then they cut down undesirable characters who “randomize” (not to mention defensive characters like Jigglypuff). It actually

Well and I think SE probably needs to hedge on this.  There may not be a part 2....though wow that would be terrible if that’s the case.  I wonder if they’ll make the game have an ending of sorts with the escape being the climax.  The game was/is probably extremely expensive to make and if sales don’t hit right they

FF7 Fans are well aware of the remake and everything around it. I don’t think you’re going to have rando looki-loos picking this up on a lark who played it in the past. Plenty of newcomers I’m sure, but anyone who played it when they were younger either LOVED it, or HATED it, and the people who LOVED it know whats up.

I would pay money for a black credit card (made of metal, natch) that had just my name, and NO other identifiable markings whatsoever. Just my name, the EMV chip, and a mag strip. No logos, no numbers, no security codes on the back.

Oh I believe you.  I’m just a little stunned at how oblivious some people are.  But maybe my perspective is skewed and to the average person that chip is really invisible.  Hmm...

How are they confused about the chip?  The strip I get..but the chip is RIGHT THERE

I mean, it was not just one job. It was many jobs. So while I don’t think people pay 29% of their income, I DO think a lot of people go without health insurance because their only option is 29%. This was before obamacare though so maybe that’s reduced cost? Maybe....

It may be true actually.  Back when I was hourly I totally ditched healthcare (this was before the obamacare mandate) because it was about 1/3 of my pay.

yeah I just looked up Nixon’s pardon...  so now that comment from Obama makes noooooo sense.  Huh.  TIL something I guess.  Well makes even more sense Snowden wouldn’t come back then.

Pardon him for what? He hasn’t been convicted. That was one of the problems before where Obama said he couldn’t pardon him because he’s not convicted of a crime. It’s a bit of a catch-22 situation for Snowden.

I had that game on a PC Junior. I remember being disappointed in just HOW HARD it was to have a meltdown and I asked a real nuclear physicist who worked on a real nuclear reactor why. His explanation was that, to do what happened in Chernobyl, you’d have to go out of your way to make every single bad decision and turn
