How about a horror movie? He takes the blue pill, goes back to work, and in the background there are all sorts of crazy things happening, which the character is willfully ignoring. People getting kidnapped, people losing their mouths, all that shit. And he can’t do anything about it, he already took the wrong pill. 

Cypher may not even believe it himself. What he is doing is essentially suicide, even if they DO put him back in as a rich actor. 

The first third is one of the best movies of the decade. One of the best comedies, one of the best action movies, a movie worthy of stealing from Groundhog Day. The last third is terrible, and completely worthy of just hitting stop and watching something else.
