Hi Das, I’m Brazilian and have spent quite a bit of time there, although I haven’t lived there in years. I did not feel that this article attacked Brazilians or Brazilian culture in any way, but highlighted the shifts in the political atmosphere, framed in the context of how women have been affected by this shift (as

In Brazil no one identifies as Latin or Latino because there’s a very strong sense of nationalism. I’m still trying to figure out where my ancestors came from, since when I ask my parents all they say is “we’re Brazilian, that’s it”.

The cabinet still has no female members. After the backlash he received, he attempted to recruit a woman to the Ministry of Culture (which he eliminated, then reinstated) but no one accepted the offer. He finally appointed this lady Secretary of Women’s issues, but I don’t believe that is officially a cabinet position

What is most painful to me about this story is the extreme backlash and judgment that she is receiving for being a victim. Because it’s been revealed that she is a teen mother and was involved with traffickers, now she is branded as a whore and a drug addict by many people. “What did she expect?” is the response I’ve

Most impressive of all is that she cartwheels with boxing gloves.

I honestly have never been able to tell the difference between the two.

Yes, for a second there it looked like she could see him, but was actually looking past him to Wyllis (HODOR!). Can’t wait for his backstory!!

I didn’t read the entire Cosmo article, but he sounds much more self-aware on this Broadly interview

Hahah was about to say, I wonder how much of this “Don’t speak ill of the dead” rule is based on actual respect and how much is due to fear of ghosts?

Are all of G. Brittain’s speedos that small or did Tom Daley specifically request a child’s size?

Her hair got caught on the Balmain. It’s my fave, but we can’t sacrifice that weave.

Yeah I’ve let go of any feelings of attachment to any characters or storylines, so I guess that’s why I still enjoy it too.

There are no happy endings, because happiness isn’t a destination, and it’s much harder to maintain than it is to reach. But there is such a thing as progress, and joyful moments that make the human experience worthwhile. I just wish they would explore those themes as well as they do the dark ones.

The end of last season was the most blatant example of this. After everything Jaime went through to rescue his daughter, they STILL couldn’t stay together. I have no more hope of a happy ending for any characters in this show. Even when they are brave and make the right(less wrong?) decisions, there is never any

Also, props for asking ig she’ll tell the truth about UFOs.

Came for the controversy. Stayed for the Bo Jack reference. Kudos.

Ahh to be an ignorant teen with more money and exposure than one knows what to do with...

I knew I’d seen that gorgeous face before! Never forget, original Daario

Aw, first days of school and substitutes were the best!! I loved seeing their reaction go from surprise, to curiosity, to downright panic! For a while I shouted my name out before they had a chance to butcher it, but then I discovered that letting them interpret it on their own was way more fun :)

This is true. She wore a bra and denim overall shorts to a club and took home Blake Griffin. Like, what do I expect?
