You look back at the old days of Formula 1 and think “How did they tolerate a driver dying every single year?” And then you remember that the Isle of Man TT still exists.

Woah! I’ve never been “proud” of a makeup brand, but this article did it. I’ve been wearing e.l.f. Cosmetics since I came out as trans a decade ago. To date, it’s the only brand that matches my skin tone right on point without making me spend a disgusting amount of money. So heck yeah, I’m going to keep on buying that

Chevy Nova, any year, any iteration. Including my then-3-month-new ‘72 hatch where the hatch window popped out, as well as the shift knob coming off.

Which is a shame, because the SC series cars they replaced, while inexpensive, didn’t kill you with the cheap. They weren’t pleasant per se, but they were a good value for the price point.

Clearly nobody here remembers the Yugo.

My experience with Jeeps is that it’s a coin flip. You can get one that is flawlessly reliable, or get one that is always in the shop.

Jeeps and rangerovers all over this list.

They retire from farming, but they become more active in local politics. Bringing those classic values of the ‘50s with them. Fuck...

Would you write a “what stereotypical car do [ethnicity] buy” article? Or how about “what stereotypical car do poor people buy?”

Yeah, because that's pretty much the only people who can afford them

There’s worse picks out there. If I’m an old empty nester and wanna be comfy while driving the speed limit, the RX is a pretty great package.

Lexus RX. Every boomer coming out of a CR-V looking to “finally splurge a bit” is buying them, my parents included.

Once the Scion xB went out of production, they all migrated over to the Kia Soul and haven’t looked back. Honestly, it’s easy to see why. They are easy to get in and out of, still relatively analog, have enough room to pick up the grandkids and their strollers, and can be afforded on a tight social security budget.

Andretti might have something to say on this topic!

Sargeant was only a tenth off Albon in FP1 before the latter wrecked, and finished FP2 in 13th. Neither of them have scored points yet this season. Had Sargeant qualified well (he can easily get into Q2 with the performance Haas and Alpine have), anything could happen, especially in Australia, where every practice

I did. It is still hilarious that the “pinnacle of motorsports” only has 10 teams and some of those teams can’t even build more than 2 cars.

I mean, if you can’t verify the authenticity, it’s not valid, that’s the whole fucking point.

Remember these are “smart” people.   They will tell you that.

police “have no jurisdiction over” Mercado, and arguing that “she is not a United States citizen.”

Hmm seems like publicly stating you don’t pay taxes is a good way to end up on the IRS’s radar.
