Just getting to this article while prepping for COTA this week. Fantastically written, full of the flavor of racing, and lots of ‘it needs to be said about the pile of crap F1 racing has become’ sprinkled in.

This commissioner. Head in the sand. Expand MLB while it’s popularity continues to wane? Fix the problems with the game first, THEN worry about whether to expand.
Baseball isn’t a one-game-per-week sport. You’d have to choose Austin or San Antonio, and corporate interests in Austin make it the obvious choice over San Antonio.
A more likely scenario for MLB success than adding teams, certainly, is to move them off Florida Island. Baseball in Florida is a failure. Move on. And stop diluting the talent at the Major League level.
