It reminded me of the classic "Do That To Me One More Time" mother-daughter duet on 30 Rock sung by Jane Krakowski & the late great Jan Hooks. Totally insane & only slightly less creepy.

OH YES PLEASE. Full on The Craft WITH a lightning bolt.

Ew.

Now wouldn't THAT be a bizarre endgame.

What I don't understand is why showrunners think this actor would be attractive to even damaged young women. Ecch.

Never For Ever is the most English album ever made, and a definite jumping off point for Newsom, although her voice is her own. There are a lot of similarities, though. And Newsom sounds nothing like Joni Mitchel, either vocally or in her songwriting.

Ha! Brave words, but so truthful.

i think the intrinsic hate was helped along by having Steve Hytner, aka Seinfeld's annoying Kenny Bania, play the Tacoma medical examiner. He does insufferable very well.

Great review. I've grown to love this show, and after Veronica Mars' 2nd season I SWORE never to watch Rob Thomas product again. So I'm a dirty liar, sue me. Hope he doesn't mess up iZ's 2nd season, because this finale was stellar.

Exactly. Conan O'Brien sucked for the first year of his show, but now he's hilarious. But Leno was terrible from beginning to end, although I doubt that will be Noah's problem.

Never. The one true tragedy about Justified is that Hawkes never did a guest turn. He would have been a natural for Harlan, good guy or villain. Oh well - Dillahunt was plenty, I guess.

And no matter how stupid and ridiculous those clothing choices were (yeah, skintight corsets and jeans are always lying around in hospitals), it had its intended effect on you boys. So that's okay then. Let's keep the useless and boring Katrina, because she's HAWT.

Halloween was shot in South Pasadena (a separate and self-contained town from Pasadena), which makes it doubly creepy as it is the sleepiest of sleepy SoCal suburbs. It's really weird to see Curtis walking around uneasily in streets which surround the town's beautiful library square, usually populated by kids and dogs

Me, neither, especially as Pamela was yelling "NO" repeatedly and fighting him off. Perhaps Louie was trying to recreate the scene with Amia but as one gone horribly wrong, but that still doesn't justify the terrible little smile of triumph on his face when she left. Dude, she wasn't kidding - she meant NO. She found

My problem with Timberlake appearing on SNL is that it just reinforces his delusion that he's a fine actor and comedian. NO.

The Pasadena City Hall also stands in for the Lexington KY federal building in Justified. And of course it plays itself outside Sheldon's and Leonard's apartment window. It is extremely versatile.

I was sort of surprised at Socha's "defection" too, but Molony has just joined the cast of Ripper, so he's occupied in the UK. And while I liked Bracken, she seems a little too, er, British to translate to American TV.
I would have said the same thing about Socha, though, so who knows.

That's "Manservant Hecubus" to you. Also, where are the Sizzler Sisters? "TIE a yellow RIBBON round the OLD OAK TREE…"

Cersei "isn't as smart as she thinks she is," as Tywin and Tyrion have both stated several times this season.  Guess we'd better start believing it. Apparently she's also turning into a drunk.
