Does your daughter know about the animated series Young Justice? There are a number of great female characters in it.

Avengers: Earth’s Mightiest Heroes was as close as Marvel got to a similarly complex and fun to watch cartoon. Then they cancelled it to replace with Avengers Assemble.

Great movie. Lots of style. I know today we would have to call it a superhero movie but to me it’s more in the tradition of Scanners, Escape From Witch Mountain, or Dreamscape, filtered through something glossy like Fast & Furious Tokyo Drift.

Thank you! I adore Push. It’s a brilliant film, because it’s so smart! It’s a complex, but not convoluted script that lays out a set of rules, and sticks to them the entire time. It’s a great thriller, and like you said, the action serves the story rather than feeling like unessential setpieces. Telekinetic gunfights

I agree. I loved this film when it came out and hoped it would do better than it ultimately did.

I went to a ropes course once, I was 17. Had a great time on the three-foot tall practice set. Got hoisted to the 40 foot high section and my brain went NOPENOPENOPENOPE. They let me back down. Just because it looks fun, don't mean it is when your actual body gets up there.

Time to experience a bit of daredevilry from the comfort of your own chair.

Plus he's a Manchester United fan!

You're right... humans are evil. Why are you including a picture with a bunch of tribbles as your example though?

He sold the planet his overrated stuff and ruthless administrative skills while covering his evil under sleek design lines and casual CEO manners. Scarier still: his amassed undead followers still chant his name.

Dr. Horrible is the prime example of the "Nice Guy". Captain Hammer is a jerk. Dr. Horrible is an equally big jerk. Poor, poor Penny.

Loki

The Master was utterly evil and Delgado's Master was almost likeable when he was chatting to the Doctor (he even seemed to show some respect for Jo) . Of course it's "helped" by the fact that the Doctor tended to be very civil with Master, to the point it really makes you question how much the Doctor actually views

Cersai and Jaime Lannister

I had never had much interest in Doctor Who, but I caught an episode of Torchwood and so I had to go watch Doctor Who to understand it. (Obsessive? Moi?)
