I'm loving the tone of this movie!

I'm only kinda excited about Thor because I really don't like Natalie Portman/How Jane Foster is portrayed but I'm pretty pumped for Captain America 2.

A lot of my family members are nerds so I grew up around Star Wars and Star Trek but what was really sealed was the first X-Men movie. It just blow my nerdling mind and after that, a crap ton of Comic Book Movies came out that I couldn't get enough. X-men is still one of my favorites and I can't wait until Days of

Man, he looks great with the gray!

It is my theory that the writers are intentionally writing Skye and Ward (Or Mr. Grant) like this because they are the two wildcards. We already know that Coulson, Fitz-Simmons and Melinda May work well in teams but the two characters who are the Lone Wolves, as it were, have to learn who to work but in teams but with

That's okay. I have proclaimed myself as the YA Slinger of io9/Observation Deck.

I always joke that if I were to go back in time, I'd go to the first screening of Empire Strike Back and when Vader says "No. I am your father", I'd yell out "Called it!" just to see what would happen. Although, it would be great to go to the first screening period.

I know I should be mature and all, saying things like "I'm too old for just 'splody' movies" but that kinda looks freaking awesome. Gimme more.

Rick Riordan's House of Hades is released on the 8th, just in case there are other YA readers here in the nine-o-sphere.

Wow, Bones, Spock and Kirk somehow got hotter. Science!

Man, that was a great scene. I totally cried.

Because of you, the phrase "Shut up and eat your awesome" became a common phrase in my family. Thank you for that.

I'm Geesejuggler. I've been commenting here for about 5 years (That long), one of the original odeckers, I think. I run WednesdayBookClub on the o-deck. I'm also incredibly random and will make a joke in an awkward situation.

Um, I'd watch the crap out of that! Gimme!!

Dude!! I want to know that guy's story so bad!!

This.

While part of me is rolling my eyes over Hollywood making a movie adaption of this book, another of me is stunned by the amount of talent they have in this movie and for every Meh book that is made into a movie, a great book book is adapted too. Right now, they are filming The Fault In Our Stars movie, an INCREDIBLE

Um, I kinda love this casting. Spader can play the menacing but emotionless pretty well plus he does have a rather fantastic voice.

As much as I love Timothy Dalton and I know that he could be Alfred (His stint on Chuck shows that he still has the chops), I don't want to spend Man of Steel 2 staring at him. He's still a handsome man and that can be a bit distracting.

Or you can do what Jasper Fforde does and just make the names as ridiculous on purpose!
