I always joke that if I were to go back in time, I'd go to the first screening of Empire Strike Back and when Vader says "No. I am your father", I'd yell out "Called it!" just to see what would happen. Although, it would be great to go to the first screening period.

Um, I kinda love this casting. Spader can play the menacing but emotionless pretty well plus he does have a rather fantastic voice.
As much as I love Timothy Dalton and I know that he could be Alfred (His stint on Chuck shows that he still has the chops), I don't want to spend Man of Steel 2 staring at him. He's still a handsome man and that can be a bit distracting.
Or you can do what Jasper Fforde does and just make the names as ridiculous on purpose!
