You mean like a lenticular crystal instead? Yeah, a liquid instead of a solid lens seems silly.

Yeah, it's unfortunate that both the millimeter wave and backscatter X-ray scanners came out at about the same time. Millimeter wave is not ionizing, so should not pose any health risks (though some people would still beg to differ). Though, I guess both technologies can show Puritanical naughty bits.
Like I said, neglecting the mass of the sealant. Anyway, a though large metal sphere is usually pretty airtight, you can't get much of a vacuum on a solid object, so it still wouldn't be that buoyant.
See that part about it being a sponge? That also means that it's not airtight.
But the radio control still works...
I'd like to see his test lap.
With the pyramids emitting over half a megawatt (if all 1792 antennae are running full power), it's no surprise they hum.
With that kind of defeatist attitude, one wonders: what do you do at all then?
For those passive-aggressive Yahoo employees, they could st this up whenever they are not physically in the office.
I think this place is going to get a lot more popular: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_National_Radio_Quiet_Zone
Lots of security cameras with 1/3" sensors claim 0.01 lux sensitivity. Why is this so much better?
The thing is that at 1/7.5 the pixel area of the 1Dx, it's still over 2MP which will be fine for 1080 (p? i?) video.
Yeah, even regular vacuum sealer bags are pretty cheap, but just let me continue to think that silicone is better than those other plastics.
Put a one way valve on a bag (like a Vacuvin http://www.vacuvinusa.com/) and sell it for sous vide.
How long do they last before you need to replace the blade?
Will it cut through carbon fiber, or should I still look into ceramic blades for that?
Variation of a scarlet letter.
I'm not too sure it really is a bubble. But if it is, how would you short it? Or at least profit off of it, even if it isn't a bubble?
It's nice that they are addressing the fact that the GoPro isn't that great of a form factor for helmet use, but there are other ways to integrate a camera with a helmet besides building it into the helmet.
Is it exactly 1000 charges, or something more like 1024 charges, figuring they only needed ten bits to store the charge count.
