Yeah, I agree it’s frustrating. A lot of people are so quick to point out the same faulty reasoning as “Oh he resets in each region” or “he never ages” but that’s what makes it better. And they do show Ash’s progression each and every region with how clearly the quality of his training has gone up levels from where it

Now playing

One of the best moments from the TTG series.

At least he doesn’t have Brock Turner’s enabling father.

I played Black Knight and.....yikes.

I didn’t mean that Sonic 06 is good but at least it’s so broken and bad that it can be fun somtimes because it’s so broken and bad. (and it has a decent soundtrack) Mighty No. 9 is just bad and boring, like Sonic Boom.

She stepped out of line. She stepped out of pocket. I’m trying to sound as appropriate as I possibly can.

Ash has a lot of heart though. I imagine, in universe, the grand majority of trainers don’t get more than a pair of badges, if any at all. The games skew this perspective as you always become league champion by the end.

Quite interesting.

Agreed (and thank you for saying that). I’m no lover of the “vote for the lesser of two evils” requirement in which our two-party system forces us, but the stakes are way too high to do anything else.

Well, the hole never using his most powerful pokemon thing is actually explained in the show. he doesnt want to just plow through. he wants new challenge every league/set of gyms he enters. so he wants to start from scratch every time to challenge himself and learn as a trainer. the only reason he always has pikachu

Kind of funny that a lot of people think Ash is a terrible trainer. He places in the Top 16 or Top 8 in most tournaments and in Sinnoh he placed Top 4 while taking down two goddamn legendaries. I think Ash could be a much better trainer certainly, but he’s far from the worst.

1. He does not ‘forget’ to evolve his Pokemon. His Pokemon typically just evolve in due time, and Ash doesn’t try and force them to evolve. They evolve when it becomes absolutely necessary for it or there’s an actual reason.

It’s not enough that Kirk Cousins took RG3’s job, now he’s rubbing it in by taking bad knees as well?
