Of course they need volunteers. They aren't begging or pissing and moaning for them, simply asking the parents of the children. You said they were pissing and moaning for volunteers, not that there was a shortage. Asking parents to volunteer is a common function of the troop.

Yeah I bet it is very different when it is a church sponsored troop. Mine was not. Haha ever seen a clean scout either?

Sorry mom you might want to tag along with your kids to grade school. Nowhere did he say all men are tempted. He said they are people, and as you know, some people are tempted to do wrong things.

Of course it's in the Oath and Law. There was never any type of questions or requirements surrounding that. A scout is also brave, but you ever seen a kid afraid of spiders?

lol you seem real salty sweetie. you mad?

Mount Baldy right?

not sure how that is pissing and moaning. and also not sure how allowing all 12 gay guys that want to be leaders helps anything. not that i support the ban, I certainly don't. I am an Eagle Scout and the ban tarnishes the good work they do. But to say raising this ban will do anything to solve that problem is quite a

Nice. I did Philmont and Packard. I hear Packard is no longer a high adventure base. Deer lake mesa at Philmont is likely the most beautiful place on earth.

Of course they email the parents of the kids asking for volunteers. That isn't begging anyone. How is that pissing and moaning? Asking parents to help their kids activities is a far cry from begging for help.

Ever been to Philmont? Best week of my life.

Let's see a source. I think you are full of shit to be honest.

You have more problems than we have time for sweetie.

He didn't say all of them were.

Brotherhood member! I am in the club.

I can't think of 1 chaperon in my troop that wasn't directly related to a kid. Kinda odd to me actually that someone would sign up to volunteer if their kid wasn't involved. I'm an Eagle too, btw.

That's not what he said. Don't be so damn dramatic and make him look like a monster. Have an adult conversation without being a complete tool, mom.

As an Eagle scout I can confirm they never asked me which god I believed in, or if I believed in a god. There were non-denominational services on sundays while we camped, but they were certainly not mandatory.

They raise strong, proud men, and are not cowards. Cowards call a bunch of strangers names when you have no idea whether those people support this ban.

Since when did they piss and moan about a lack of volunteers?

No, this person is supporting an organization that does a lot of good. Bigotry is for those who agree with the decision. Don't blanket statement a lot of good people to make your point. Sounds ignorant.
