I just cook my Oatmeal on the stove. It only takes a few minutes. I’ve been chopping in bananas or adding raisins for decades. I also add a bit of cinnamon. I alternate between Oatmeal, Bulgar, Farina for cereal. I break up the monotony with eggs in all it forms, pancakes (german, patato and buttermilk).

Length of Credit history is what is holding me back. Many years ago I was in credit hell and behind on everything. As I paid things off, I canceled and cut the cards. For 10 years I paid cash for everything, managed to get an apartment with no credit, just showed I had a substantial savings.

I like the Spectre X360. I picked up a refurb I7, 256GB, 8GB and Win10 for under $700. It’s all aluminum, 1440 display, 3USB, display port mini and HDMI. Yeah a C port and Network would be nice but it is thin and gets over 10 hours battery life. It is possibly the best laptop I have ever owned. Will see how it ages.

Can we stop with the superhero crap? There are a million great books out there. It would be nice to get back to movies that you don’t have to turn your mind off for.

I could not make it passed the first few episodes. The X-files continuation was a huge disappoint too.

Some bands like Rush, Steven Wilson/P-tree, Spocks Beard, Riverside, Sylvan and few other bands I will buy even if I have not heard one song from it. Other local bands that I like, I will buy their CD too. You have to support the artists you like, streaming media doesn’t pay them crap.

Come on, haven’t we all known that locks only keep honest people out. Locks are like TSA, they only make us feel save, in reality they are a waste of money and time. I picked my first lock in middle school. That was before the internet. Learned how from a friend’s dad who was a cop.

Just find a local wine shop that offers wine tastings and go to a few. Buy what you like and ignore all the BS. Most people have a terrible pallet and just talk to hear themselves talk. The more tastings you go to the more you pick up and the more refined your pallet will become.

I have yet to find a car ecu that reports accurate mpg info..Even my 2015 Toyota reads 3-5MPG better than what I calculate.
