I always build my own and install from official MS media. If I buy a laptop before the first boot I image the drive and then do a fresh install from official MS media.

I have an old RPN HP calculator I use to total prices. Sure it's not itemized with the item's name but it helps me keep an eye on my spending. I just hit on, enter the price and +. Like the tech but way over priced. What ever happened to Keep It Simple Stupid? In a field situation the last thing you want to do fix complicated equipment. Horses, Mules, Camels and LLamas are cheap by comparison, can be acquired locally and won't cost much more to make managing pack animals part of training.

I bet the companies contracted to find these violations are paid $X per 1000 violations. So they just keep padding the the list with old or invented data. The list is so large that it costs too much for the rights holders to validate the information so they just pay and the data get forwarded to google. Who cares…
