I bought an ad supported Kindle. I liked in the early days because Amazon had some really good offers, I picked up a new Air for $830 (latest model at the time). Had few other really good deals too. Lately the deals have been rather lame. Considering doing the hack to remove the ads.

It is better then what I was expecting but I won't be buying one.

Nice but Apple screwed up on my Air and made sure power and thunderbolt were on opposite sides making a dock impossible.

If it had an Apple logo on it Giz would have 50 stories on it by now. Great reporting guys. Off to Engadget for the full story.

I'm holding out for a laser cutter. Ok light saber. Until then I'll just channel Samurai Tailor when I make pizza.

Creepy video. The song makes me want whip out the Candlebox, BlindMelon (skip the big hit song),Toad the Wet Sprocket, Whooty, Big Head Todd and Dishwala. Man my head is now swimming with songs from back then. Thanks for the flash back.

I can not believe people can not wait 15 minutes to use their devices. I guess these are the same people that text while driving.

It's actually a pretty good experience to use a GNote. Once you start using a big phone you won't want to go back. I returned my GS3 because I preferred my CM9, Tablet mode enabled Note better. I do have big hands and have no issues using the Note single handed but I can not palm a Basket Ball so my hands are not

Don't care, just give me the link to the non Apple Gizmodo page till the trial, the iphone 5 release and mini pad release are over.

70 Datsun 510! The 510 is one of my all time favorite cars. Also had an old Mercedes with mechanical fuel injection, once dialed it was great but the 510 was more dependable.

Just tell me who to pay so I can get me GNote2.

I've been saying for decades that California needs start focusing on desalination and wein itself off the Colorado River. Instead we get to spend 120+ Billion dollars on a unicorn rail system that is doomed to be a failure.

I generally just use my kindle for reading. In bed at night or on the go I use my Gnote, Kindle App for syncing, turn the brightness down, black background, white text, increase the font size and line spacing. Don't care that it looks like a 1st grade reader, it's easy on the eyes and I am less affected by bumps in

I'm surprised Apple didn't add a chip to it so they could charge $50 per cable like Thunderbolt. Maybe next gen.

I have TimeWarner and streaming works great for me. I stream Netflix and Amazon in HD. I also do a bit of downloading. I usually download at 1.2MB/s (yes Mega Bytes) on Time Warner. I use to be able to do 3-4MB/s but they have been rather stingy this past year.

Nothing new. I remember reading an article where a Dish network provider sent out what appeared to be random bits of code that baffled hackers. This continued over several months. When the code was finally completed, it ended up bricking hacked receivers.

And today the AirForce tested their new attack drone on OutSouth's home.

Bing it!

Thanks for reminding me of that turkey. I actually saw a matinee showing of it and I still wanted my money back. I walked out at 45 minutes with a urge to perform an ice pick lobotomy on myself.

Not an Apple fan boy but if they decided to change to a 19pin connector then it makes sense to do it for all devices.
