Don't get me wrong, I'll totally read the crap out of the fram-by-frame breakdown but Marvel knows we do this and the last several movies have had straight-up fake scenes in their trailers to throw us off. No one is going to know what's in this movie until, like, two days ahead when they let critics see it.

We didn’t lose knowledge. There would be an adjustment, but everybody would be fine.

There are fail-safe automatic emergency shutdown systems in all of those power plants. They won’t be operational, but they won’t render the world a wasteland.

now i dont know about all nuke plants, but most plants have crash conditions, where they just shut down, engineers learned from chernobyl

Most Nuclear power plants have automatic emergency shut downs.

My hope for Endgame? They really do spend some time acknowledging that randomly killing half of the planet would end up killing way, way more than that in secondary kills. Power plants would fail, supply chains would fall apart, governments would be decimated...

To be fair, his pest control results are still mixed at best. Catching one bat doesn't erase 70 years of getting clowned by that fucking road runner.

He *really* doesn’t need the money and has a pretty sterling reputation as a purveyor of fine Porsches, hard to see the incentive for him to dabble in intentional fakery like this.

My problem is that dudebra decided to use a joke article about Booker in cold weather to do his usual “these people are evil” schtick (kinda like his usual “Republicans are all traitors that need to be hanged” comments he leaves on every single article).

Seriously. Escape From New York is 40 years old and still stands up strong, today. Then the other problem who the hell could pull off Snake Plisken? It may be a failure of imagination on my part, but I can’t fathom anyone pulling off the roll like Kurt Russell. (Tom Hardy comes to mind as he pulled of Max quite well;

The original is iconic, has aged well and doesn’t need to be remade. Beyond that, the NYC of that era no longer exists so neither does symbolism that made the original potent. The real New York of the ‘80s was still recovering from an economic slump and a high crime rate. It was home to the working class, the poor,

Yup, the left is going to kill itself with purity tests. No single candidate will perfectly cover all of your beliefs.

It is not the conservatives. It is the chowderheads who think MAGA gear is cool. Or the skinhead look.

Although this is a reply *to* you, I’m not necessarily directing it *at* you, just making a general statement and since I’m still grey it’s more likely people will see it as a response to your comment.

Party divisions! Purity tests! This is why Trump won!

Happy for the guy, but as far as I can tell the existence of Carpenter remakes serve mainly to prove what a brilliant director John Carpenter is.

I think you have a point and I lean the same way.

I was discussing something with someone - who is may literally be a dingus - and his response was stock sanders’ese and an air of presumption and dismissal. For me, I don’t have time for it anymore. They want to keep pounding sand down a rabbit hole with their way of

Thanks for the compliment.

As I watched this, I thought of Rob’s article oh so many years ago.

Warren has ZERO shot of beating Trump, she’s even weaker than Hillary.
