Mercedes and Lewis are at the top of their game this season. It doesn’t help that Ferrari is clearly backing the wrong driver and hamstringing their chances or that Red Bull still lack rear end downforce and have to be seriously considering switching out Gasly for Albon soon.

Alex Albon is quickly turning into a superstar. He makes silly rookie mistakes but the pace is very clearly there. Red Bull have to be seriously thinking about switching out Gasly for him mid season. Its not like he doesn’t make the same rookie mistakes as Alex and he’s definitely not as quick at the moment.

Trump is a pathological liar capable of spinning everything to fit his narrative. I’m beyond trying to parse his (lack of) opinion forming thought process. That said most Democrats have done themselves no favors by not explicitly coming out against any system checks and balances in the immigration system.

I don’t get why Assange and Manning need to get some special treatment here. Assange is a foreign national who’s been credibly accused of being a Russian intelligence asset. Just calling himself a “journalist” doesn’t get him a get out of jail free card on this front. Manning committed what could viably be described

Greatest kinja comment of all time.

Wasn’t the KERS. He lost an injector on one of the cylinders and literally had a V5 in the back for 8 laps. That meant no turbo heat recovery, further compounding the problem. Ferrari say the engine is perfectly usable and it was a freak incident.

I do not have a problem with cyclists as long as they follow the rules of the road. Beyond the obvious things they do like ignore red lights and terrorize pedestrians, the ignored rules include minimum speed limits. Just as I’d have a problem with a car doing 20 on a road with a 45 mph speed limit I do have major

I think I got an ulcer just looking at that.

I completely agree. Ferrari were faster but didn’t have the reliability to win the race. Red Bull were reliable but didn’t work the tires well enough to compete. Mercedes were the best positioned to win. Ferrari have been extremely reliable in recent seasons which gives me no doubt they’ll eventually get on top of

I wouldn’t write Red Bull off just yet. They’re clearly having difficulty with the tires but Australia (the surface) and Bahrain (the winds/cold) are both not great measuring sticks for the package. The engine is better than anything they’ve ever had (look at the speed traps) and they just need to tread water until

Leclerc clearly deserved the win. He fought back from a poor start to dominate the race showing the maturity, pace and ruthlessness required to be a world champion. The pace of the Ferrari pretty much guarantees that he won’t wait for long to win a race. Australia was (as expected) an outlier and Ferrari appear to

I can’t even imagine the size of intake snorkel a 5.2L V8 with a 2L supercharger’s going to need. The truck is going to look like a nuclear power plant.

I don’t disagree with your assessment of Williams. My point was that you can’t blame the V6 turbo engine formula for their plight. They were competitive in the early V6 turbo era because Mercedes did have an engine advantage in 2014 and 2015. They went down the pay driver path on a misguided attempt to keep up with

Wrong. McLaren ran the Mercedes V6 turbo hybrid in 2014 and were nowhere. Williams has had the Mercedes all this formula and have largely been nowhere as well. The main advantage at Mercedes and Ferrari has been their enormous budgets (well over 400m euros). With a works Honda deal, Red Bull is now up there too. This

Australia is a very unique track that’s always suited Mercedes and Bottas drove the perfect race. Hamilton wasn’t running away from anybody and Verstappen had the faster car by the end of the race. Let’s see how things go on more traditional racing circuits before writing this season off. Ferrari were clearly the

I have a 991 and I love the idea that they’re hidden and difficult to use. Driving is for driving. Not for eating, drinking or other stupid things Americans seem to do while driving. Pull over and take a break if you want to drink. Do not do it while moving a 1.5+ ton hunk of metal at 80 mph.

Porsche PDK duh! It can be as smooth as an automatic when you don’t want to be intrusive and feel as mechanical and visceral as a manual when you want it to. The click it makes when you pull a paddle followed by the smooth flat 6 wail from behind is intoxicating.

This criticism of Beto is exactly why I want him to win the nomination. Policy doesn’t matter. What a candidate believes in doesn’t matter. The only thing that does matter is a candidate’s ability to beat the mentally ill idiot currently in the White House. Primary whoever wins in 24 if you want to but the only thing

Delta appears to be moving toward an all Airbus fleet. Their new A350s are amazing. I wish I had the option of flying them out of Houston - they’re my favorite US airline.

I’m a steelers fan and I can’t believe this is happening. We get a twinkie and a couple of stale cheetos for the best WR in the league and NYG trades the next best guy to our division rival for a 1st, a 3rd and a legit good safety. Fml.
