Not surprising at all. Most Tesla drivers are image obsessed idiots who wouldn’t know a bald tire from a broken shock. They actively hate cars and car culture and are trumpeting that view to the world by buying Teslas as a statement.

That might be enough if they keep the weight down. I fear they’re going to ruin this by adding a completely unnecessary hybrid system that adds a huge amount of mass purely as a box checking exercise in the same way honda ruined the nsx

I think Lena Durham is destined to be President at some point in the not too distant future.

You underestimate the awesomeness of our president. He’s probably got a bunch of slick, well considered twitter burns lined up that would make stay pufft in Pyongyang melt in shame.

Yeah me too. I’ve always felt carbon fiber is an inferior trim material to some sort of metal. Most of the stuff is coated in a tonne of clear coat which makes it look cheap and plasticky. About the only time I’ve actually felt ok about carbon fiber is when I sat in a Bmw m2 which has raw, uncoated cf which actually

Yes but all allocations through the end of 2018 are sold out. One of my colleagues at work ordered one in Jan 2017 and he’s looking at a mid-late 2018 delivery. Porsche VIPs (people that have bought at least 2 GT/918 cars in the last 10 years) got early dibs on the early allocations and all of the PTS slots. It

I’m not a fan of the exposed cf so I’ll do a simple blacked out one to keep it classy. I’d also skip the weissach package (pretty sure I won’t notice the 200g lighter paddles lol) but go with the full LED headlights, full leather interior, sport chrono and the nose lifter. $305,000 which almost seems like good value

The configurator’s up. This how I’d take it (not a fan of the exposed cf - I think black hides it well).

I think that the Alpine is in the right power and performance envelope to be great with a 6MT but I’m not going to make a blanket statement about “all sports cars” needing one - that’s generally for people who either haven’t driven a modern high performance car at 10/10ths on a track or aren’t good enough to get the

They’ve been sold out since March at least. AFAIK you can’t order a new one at a dealer at this point. I wonder what secondary market prices will end up looking like. Porsche’s likely to take a really dim view of people flipping their GT2RS or their allocation spot (if that was even possible) but I’m sure there will

If we needed anymore proof for why most people are stupid this is it.

How does this not have like 10x the stars?

Man, being forced to take that shoey is going to haunt Stroll for the rest of his life. Fantastic race all around. Hamilton definitely brake checked Vettel and Vettel’s stupidity in retaliating cost him an easy win and a shot at a 27 point lead in the WDC. Funny that 18 yer old Lance Stroll looked like the calm

They have a solid core with no depth. Fleury, Methot and Neal are top tier players. Marchessault is a really promising young forward who could develop into a franchise type player. I have no doubt they’ll add pieces in FA and through the draft. They’re not as bad as this post suggests.

Even without the 3 first round picks and the inevitable draft day trades, this is a pretty good team - certainly good enough to not be the worst in the league. Methot, Fleury and Neal are all blue chip picks and I really like Marchessault to develop into the best player on the team.

Wrong. It’s texas and not even close.

I really enjoyed reading this. You need to cover boxing full time man - this is really well done. I think Kovalev cried wolf one too many times on the low hits. When he really did get hit in the nuts in the 8th round the refs waved it off as more grandstanding.

Darwin at work. While I sympathize with his family he brought this upon himself. Ignoring all the hype and disingenuous branding Autopilot is fundamentally just an advanced cruise control system. Drivers are ultimately responsible for their actions and using cruise control doesn’t shift the burden or liability of

Joshua v Klitschko would say otherwise.

From what I understand it’s a regular series production model. There’s obviously a waitlist and the dealers generally prioritize customers who already have gt3rs cars etc so with a sticker around 350k, I don’t think it will be commonplace.
