I think I mentioned this before, but I just became the proud owner of a simple truck. It’s a 1994 Ford F-150 with a straight-6. For all intents and purposes, it was a “pepaw” truck. It is simple, with a minimal number of lines. It’s basically boxes. It’s boxy, and that’s good.

Over the past year, for the not so usual rental, I have had a couple Dodge Chargers, an Audi A6, and a CT6. Those aren’t bad at all. I’ve had the run of the mill Camry, Corolla, Elantra, and Fusion rentals, which offer exactly what you’d expect.

I had a 2016 Nissan Sentra rental once when my car was in an accident. Coming up an on ramp and tried to merge on the highway with a semi coming up behind, for a moment i thought that was the last car I’d ever drive!!! Oh and the interior plastic was worse than the happy meal toys from McDonald's.

It’s hard to wrap my head around the idea that someone would willing buy a QX80, and then someone else would willingly steal it, presumably with the thought that still another person would want one. I mean yes, after its face lift it’s probably no longer the ugliest car for sale in America, but still...
