I agree, driving style matters big time, I drive old vehicles with big V8’s ( vans, trucks diesel and gas ) and with appropriate driving style I manage to get similar mpg’s to their modern counterparts, also fuel system being kept in a good shape is a plus... (Especially fuel filters, injectors, nothing kills mpg more

Let's s make it a 3 cyl, two stroke turbo with cvt and straight pipes, put a track in a back instead of wheels, replace front wheels with... Nevermind, just get a snowmobile!

Stuff like that is awesome when you build it yourself, I bet some rich kid bought it, now will start telling everyone how much time he spent “working on his project”

Pick the awd version of one of those and you’re set! You can get a cargo awd base model (manual everything but the transmission) for about $1000, many cargo models came with rear heater too...

    Haha! “That went well” (...)

Ford super duty trucks aren't too great when it comes to serviceability - need to take the heads off for whatever reason (cracks/head gaskets/stretched head bolts) you need to take off the cab if you want to do it quickly...

Yeah, the Omnipresent Splinter Board does not belong there... CP.
