    The problem with your “conservatism can never fail it can only be failed” line is that people are involved. People are very often complacent and careless and do stupid, stupid things. Q.E.D., unfortunately for this poor dead woman.

    there is no need to be vigilant about presence of a gun, IF vigilance is applied properly to the handling of said gun.

    1) this is why gun education is needed. theres no reason to be afraid of properly handled guns, even loaded ones. the only time that you should be afraid of PROPERLY HANDLED guns, is if you are doing something that merits having it used on you.

    I won’t lie though, even I had a less-than-stellar experience buying my Benz, but I think that had more to do with the fact that I look so young than my ethnicity.

    Also in Houston, and I was also flipped off when a Harris County cop ran a red light in front of me at about 1am as I was heading home from working super late, and I honked and flashed my brights.
