I understand why it is the case because then they technically won’t be beholden to anyone if their job is secure but that was logical when people didn’t live to their 90s not in the current day.

This is a very interesting point that I hadn’t thought of before. It is kind of insane that there’s a job at the highest level of our government where people work until they die.

I am just going to say this but she should have retired in 2014 when the Dems still held the Senate and she knew she had end stage pancreatic cancer. She was an icon but that doesn’t mean she didn’t fuck us totally by not stepping down.

McLarry makes a good point. Sharing intel with another major government to avoid a terrorist attack seems completely reasonable; reporting that intel to the world, less so.

Just a thought...if telling the Russian ambassador that the Israelis have intel on a possible ISIS attack is a YUGE breach of national security, how much worse is it that now everybody knows...? Sure, they didn’t disclose which city, but 80% of the story is out - it seems the blabbermouth who wanted Trump to look bad

Can anyone lip read what she’s saying?

Dammit...I can’t escape the constant barrage of Trump stories. Just want to go to Jalopnik and read car stories...not more Trump stuff...but there it is linked on their front page. :(
