Wow looks pretty awesome! The gunplay animations don't translate as well but damn it looked good. I wish their was an update for the console version to let me play like this.

@angusr: Makes sense. I guess it's also a matter of time it takes to intercept. A laser takes alot less time to get from A to B than anything else would.

Wouldn't it be quicker to create a large explosion close enough to the comet to push it out of the way? I mean, are comets not most likely tumbling and spinning through space, making it difficult to train a laser beam on the same spot long enough?

@Raso719: The video above is from a 2003 Activision PC game of the same name. I actually never heard of it until I googled it, doesn't look too bad, but who knows maybe it was poopy.

I'm so stoked that I'm skeptical it will be any good whatesoever.
