...pass traveler...

I limit myself to one glass of wine.

A current model Passat.

The album cover really sells the idea.

Not to make light of the situation - but “Touch of the tar brush” would make a really cool band name...

well, its a start, but please call me when they roll out the Buyer Avoidance Tech.

Honda, definitely Honda.

The Model 3 is too small, too fancy, and too impractical (have you seen that trunk and that glass roof?) to be a family beater; would you put two car seats and a dog in there along with enough toys to keep the kids happy? The problem with your point is that if we all followed your criteria then everyone who would have

Read what the original comment is asking for and explain to me how a Model 3 would not fit that need. You’ve moved the goal-posts a bit and in fact closer to existing vehicles like the Bolt.

I’d say it’s hardly nitpicking. Is an Accord buyer going to buy a TLX? Will an Altima shopper get a Q50? A Passat loyalist an A4? No, because those are compact execs where they need a family saloon. Are you saying the entire existence of compact executives can be considered “nitpicking”? Where’s the Tesla alternative

Not really, the Model 3 is neither proven nor practical. It’s a 3 Series alternative for someone who needs an Accord. If a Camry buyer asks you what to buy, you’re not going to tell them a Lexus IS will suit their needs. Where’s the 2o0 -ish hp 200 mile range 0-60 in 8 seconds large family saloon?

That was a pretty harsh response to a guy asking for an everyman car. In case you didn’t know, a lot of people drive everyman cars. That’s not specific. That’s the definition of widespread.

I think he makes a great point. I’m not in a position to buy one yet, nor do I want one yet, but the point is still valid.

I think it’s fair. There’s a massive gap in the market right where a huge percentage of ICE cars are right now. The millions of Camry, Accord, Malubu, etc owners who might want to move to a similar sized EV don’t have an option unless they want to double their price point.

Dude, he’s just saying there’s no electric counterpart to America’s best-selling sedans: the Camry, Accord, Fusion, etc. Each of these sold over 250,ooo examples last year. Yeah, no market at all there. Literally if Chevy just plopped a Bolt powertrain into a Malibu they’d create sales magic. That’s why the Leaf sold

My great aunt was in this cult. Despite the huge negatives (chief among them, the whole worshipping some rando as a god), they did a lot of good.

Yes indeed! Lowell George-era only, please. The reconstituted band just doesn’t have the same soul in his absence. Never has, even though they’ve been without him 3x as long as he was part of Feat at this point. His songwriting defined Feat; no LG, no Feat, I think.

Of course she sleeps well now - after getting rid of that brat that was cramping her pole dancing at local bars and locking lips with other ladies...

He was running because she was transitioning to become a boy and is considered “doping”

I wrestled for eight years. There’s a huge advantage. Take a 125 lbs boy and put him up against a 125 lbs girl with both having equal skill and the boy wins 90% of the time. The physiological differences are pretty big even if they weigh the same.
