Funny thing is that Teslas have oil and filters. Gears and oil. Pumps and fluid. I’m amazed that people still don’t realize that a Tesla is just like a regular car in every other aspect (and even more complicated) except for the motor/fuel. Yes it needs less of them, but they still have them.
The vast majority of Ottawa is vaxxed (80%+) as are most of the truckers. This is a solution looking for a problem. And on top of that it’s being run by a notorious right-wing white supremist who has called for the killing of the government.
Most of Canada is against this protest - but depending on which flavor news…
Here’s a good example of “yelling at cops”
Calls them names, flip them off, refuse their orders, etc. If they don’t have a legal reason to stop you, go ahead and yell. This cop gets his fee fees hurt, even throws punches. The result? The local sarge pulls the rogue cop by the arm and forces him to leave. Why? He was…
Yelling at cops is NOT a crime, no matter how much you hurt their fee fees. Jesus, how’s them boots taste? I’ll never know so I’d thought I’d ask you.
This is a CA car. The check engine light means the owner can’t get it smogged, which is a requirement to sell in CA. The new owner will not be able to register it unless they take it out of state of one of like 2 counties in CA that don’t smog
This was my second one to make it to a slideshow!
I know that the whole diesel thing got lost in the shuffle between diesel-gate (VW) and the emergence of EVs, but I was super stoked when Mazda announced that they were going to bring their diesels to the US, and without DEF being needed (even the newer VWs needed DEF). I was waiting on the Mazda 6 with a SkyactivD…
Whataboutism is the tool of the (Russian) foreign troll.
I think the biggest reason why is that if tesla made a cheaper EV, it would be missing features and range. And when you take away features and range, you’re left with what everyone else makes, or even less than what others offer.
There’s a reason they don’t want their cars to look, drive or be built like other EVs.
ONLY a good deal if the valve stem seals have been replaced. The V8s have major smoke issues...
Actually, the fluid is “Lifetime” per VW, but according to all the TDI gurus out there it needs to be changed every 100K. When I got past 100K I decided to just let it ride, expecting it to die. These transmissions are so well known to implode at 100K that I just knew it would blow someday, but it never happened. When…
Yeah, it looks like Ian doesn’t know that taxis exist (which is weird considering this story he commented on is about...lemme check again...TAXIs).
OOF
DAFUQ?
And the fact that the warranty clock started ticking 5 to 6 (Like on that 2015 TDI) years ago when the fix was applied, these may already be expired...
As the owner of the one-off engine design cheating Passat, I’m still angry about how VW treated the newer diesels when it came time to the buyback money.
