As a longtime diesel driver...Let me also add that any driver with a diesel motor can use the one-pedal method as well. The torque that diesels are famous for also comes into play when deceleration. Massive torque also means stronger engine braking. .

Since this car is designed to go full blast at 3.5 second intervals - doing prolonged minute-long stomps on the go pedal must drain the battery to nothing in record time.
