As a bay area native I can say that we have plenty of hills like that in SF, as others have noted. And they ALL have stop signs at the crest of each hill.

This was all over the TDIClub forums - GM Europe was quietly updating the diesels and they were not releasing any official documentation as to what the flash changed. There’s some very knowledgeable folks over at TDIClub.

Honestly tho, he theoretically only needs to outrun the slowest student.

Its common for auto makers to test new chassis hidden under current bodies.

GM (Europe) cheated too. They had an emergency ECU flash right after the VW thing happened. It was all over the TDI forums at the time.
