I actually have a distant relative of mine who lives on the opposite coast (I’m on the West Coast - he’s on the East Coast).

This is nothing like a volt system. This is a standard hybrid system with a conventional automatic transmission with a motor in lieu of the torque converter. This is like the old Kia/Hyundai/Toyota systems.

It was a very cool ride - it got the 6 versus the 4 that the eclipse got - had more power than expected (but was not fast by any means).
