Huh, they even got Tagalog in there. It’s nice to feel represented for once!

Can confirm VR greatness for racing games. I bought a Rift pretty much exclusively for use with Assetto Corsa and Project CARS on the PC since I already had a rig strong enough to run it, a wheel and pedals, and the Rift basically cost the same as the two screens I was looking at using for surround gaming anyway.
Not sure if sarcasm, but that is most likely this:
I’ll be that guy... Trigger control Han! Even scruffy looking nerf herders need to observe proper blaster handling procedures.
Honestly, as someone into sim-racing, the full support for Project CARS and the idea of being able to drive in VR is enough to make me want either this or the the Vive as soon as possible.
Fantastic skin for a, let’s say “less than stellar” at the moment hero. It’s too easy to fall behind the damage curve if you’re not getting stacks fast enough in the early game, and there just isn’t anything he brings to the table that some other hero can’t do better or easier. Here’s hoping this leads to either buffs…
Yes, yes they are.
Have you seen Joe Rogan’s white Sharkwerks GT3 RS? You should see Joe Rogan’s white Sharkwerks GT3 RS.
Well there’s always the 987/981 generations of the Boxster/Cayman that rev to about 7200 to 7800 depending on the engine and MY. Or there’s something like the Mustang GT350 with it’s 8200 rpm limit. Sure, high rpm engines aren’t common, or cheap, but they’re around!
An excuse to share a pic of my kitteh? Sure why not.
Sure, she never lost a fight. Except for the part were her plan to set the trap she was working on when they were captured by Han/Chewie failed completely. Or when she was completely helpless and terrified while being held at saber point by Kylo before being easily knocked out and dragged away for mental…
Eh, you can level the same argument against Indiana Jones. The beatings he takes would realistically have taken a much larger toll on him than depicted in the films. Also Finn ends up in a coma at the end there so, yeah, just a little wear.
1 in a billion?
Well good lord. I enjoyed season 1 but I managed to lose track of the show after they released the first episode of season 2 due to the long break before new eps. Looks like I need to start catching up again!
Yeah, even if the game itself doesn’t turn out great (though I’m digging what I see in the trailer), that soundtrack already sounds fantastic.
Yeah, I get you. For me though, I take that 45 minutes of waiting on the sous vide (if I’m not prepping sides anyway, sometimes just the steak and a pit of off the shelf garden salad is enough) as an opportunity to wind down and relax on the couch and watch TV or read instead of working in the kitchen. Then whenever I…
Even if the room temp thing isn’t necessary (which, having read why that may be, I still have a hard time accepting as I’ve definitely had instances of a thick steak under cooking straight out of the fridge vs letting it rest while using the exact same cooking methods. Maybe my fridge is too cold? Who knows.), I’d…
That’s just moving time around though. Instead of spending 45 min now, you spent however much time to prep your seasoning/marinade beforehand, then waited a day (or however long) to cook. And you can still mess up if you manage to leave the meat in the oven too long if you get distracted. Like, at a party when you’ve…
Sure, but factor in time to heat the pan/oven to 500 and you get to a fair bit over 10 minutes. Maybe not as long as sous vide in total, but still longer than your initial estimate. If you let your meat sit in salt at all beforehand then your total time increases even more. Then you still have to worry about timing…
