Copying for private use once you've paid for something isn't stealing. Copying and then distributing it to potential customers thereby denying someone potential profit, even if you aren't gaining money, is still stealing.

Eh, some people don't want to be bothered by the advertising. I for one don't want to see them taking a moment to sling someone else's products (besides the cars of course) or put sponsor logo's on the cars.

Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee is being sponsored by Acura. Seinfeld is also a bajillionare.

I got into a conversation with someone on one of their new Drive+ videos concerning their revenue and broke down like this:

Being largely agnostic, I don't tend to read religious references into most things I see since it's not really an interest of mine. That's something I should work on changing though I suppose since, in cases like this, it'd add so much to the appreciation of someone's work.

Saw it Thursday night, gave serious thought the watching when I got off work on Friday, then remembered I'm trying to enforce a new budget which resulted in my emotional side waging war on my logical side. I was able to keep to my budget... but at what cost?!

Yeah, the class stuff was glaringly obvious, but I managed to miss the importance placed on the location of windows and looking outside. Good stuff.

However, if your date actually managed to engage with the film, and then actively discuss what they thought it was trying to say with you, you might have found a keeper!

I keep telling myself to look up what else College has done, but it keeps slipping my mind. Thanks for reminding me.

Ah Escaflowne, I remember collecting and loving the VHS's of those as they were released back in the day (damn, now I feel old). I think I actually still have those in a box in the garage somewhere, and the 3 OST volumes still get pretty regular play.

Starred for Mushi-shi. So good!

Yup. I remember watching it and being devastated by it.

This one certainly changed mine. This and Macross/Robotech opened the anime door for me. When I started buying into the idea that animation was only for kids, this movie (along with Akira, Grave of the Fireflies and others) reminded me that wasn't so. My cinematic experience is so much broader thanks to these films.

Hello Ladies?

Sure, but being directly in the path of the car still seems like the last place you'd want to set up anything but a camera, and maybe one really really ballsy operator if you were on a really tight budget and couldn't get a crane, or a tripod...

Well you asked who guarantees it, and I answered with who is supposed to do that. Sorry if you took offense to that but I don't know you and your experience, and it read like you were saying there is no system in place meant to protect someone looking for counseling when there actually is.

Life is too short not to do the things you enjoy. So long as you're not hurting yourself or anyone else by spending the money on it, I say go for it without regret!

Exactly, but HollywoodCed seemed to imply that simply asking the question necessitates an eventual answer, while the fact you aren't going to get the answer seems to be part of the point of the entire show/book.

Psychiatrists and psychologists are governed just like any other medical practice. There are regulatory boards that certify and monitor people who provide counseling and therapy. Here's California's Board Site.
