Well played...
Well played...
Well, yes and no. Maybe it's just because my daily driver 987.1 CS is red, but I get my fair share of douche-baggery. I mean sure, some people apparently feel like they need to prove something and try to prevent me from moving in to/out of the passing lane, like this minivan that was doing about 60 in the fast lane…
Pretty much this. The P1 is probably the better "pure performance" hybrid supercar, but I'd say the 918 is a more complete package and technologically more impressive.
Yup, as others have said already, the final moments of the last race in the movie are just pure cinematic joy. The speech where Mama Racer say's "...when you just take my breath away" as Speed is tearing through the pack gets me every time. I'm getting all emotional just sitting here thinking about it.
Or, if rumors are true, you'll probably want the Cayman GT4 with potentially about 400 or so horses mid-ship where they should be!
Found a Morgan Three Wheeler parked next to me recently!
You mean like this?
I agree with Patrick. I OWN a 987.1 Cayman S (which I love and agree with pretty much everything he said about it above) and I'd still be willing to spend the money to rent a 3 wheeler for a bit.
I love that second to last video. I can almost see the thought process as it happened:
One example off the top of my head here: the IMSA GT3 Cup Challenge.
So we can potentially harvest energy from water itself and the turbine spun by it in a relatively non-consumptive manner?
Man I love that game!
Look at all of that moving over to the right while not immediately passing another car. And that van that got out of the left lane as soon as they had the opportunity! Brings a tear to my eye, and makes me hate So Cal drivers even more...
I would stick it in the back of my Cayman and finally have the car that Porsche should (but won't) build..
I've never experienced cognitive dissonance so badly as I do when thinking about playing something like this with a perfected Oculus Rift...
No T-rex needed? But where's the fun in that?!
Indeed there are, which is why I called it a long take and not a single take, though I suppose those terms are sort of interchangeable. The most glaring cut (or stitch) to me was the car light towards the end of the segment.
Well, of course the first scene of a Cuaron TV show would be a long take.
BUT OH MY GOD THOSE EXHAUSTS. If the Porsche 918 makes every car have top-mounted exhausts, then it should go down as one of the greatest cars in history (if it won't already). Top mounted exhausts are the best innovation to come out of Porsche since the company first made a Porsche.
Haven't movies taught us anything?!
