But if we perfect earth inside a computer and can then jack into it, you can live an amazing life even if you have cancerAIDS in the Real!

If I understand correctly, and videos seem to prove me right, those leaves look like that because they are actually objects that react to cars passing by.

Ok, now I want that to happen to this:

Except for the Cayman/Boxster. They're in the middle like they should be!

Sure, but this is marketing the app's power, not the actual painting. The fact that the app is even capable of this level of detail is pretty amazing when you consider the inherent limitations of an iPad.

It's the pedant in me coming out but :cough: MACROSS dammit :cough:

Wouldn't say it was the best, but I used to love this show! Tracking down a full set of those toys was damn near impossible but by god I managed it. They're still in a box in the garage somewhere I think...

Wasn't aware of Space Dandy, so thanks for that! If it's half the show Bebop was then we're in for a good time.

The time jump happens at the end of the first arc. The main characters are still there, just older. You really should go back and watch it all the way through. Give it until the end of episode 8 (yes that's a lot of episodes), and if you're not hooked by then, at least you can say you gave it a shot.

GlossAndGlitter has a point. It starts off pretty standard and is entertaining enough, but it really does hit its stride right around episode 6, then it just veers off into awesomeness.

Hah, I'm in the same boat as both of you. The last series I watched to completion was Trigun (I feel so old), and I had not touched anything anime related beyond Miyazaki's movies since then.

Obligatory:

Oh what I wouldn't give for a world in which all of these guys got together and made the perfect racing game. Turn 10 would bring the pretty, CARS would bring even more pretty plus their sound captures, and Polyphony would make everything drive properly.

Once again, the sound is the biggest difference to me. Forza still overemphasizes the turbo induction a little, but at least it captures a bit of the V8 growl where GT6 sounds really generic.

Now playing

You are aware that the Huayra uses a twin-turbo V8 right? The sound is more accurate in the pCARS segment.

Oh you!

Ah, stealth edits, they'll get ya every time!

The other advantage of the engine is it's likely lighter than its V6 and V8 siblings. Weight is the enemy of speed, and a lighter engine up front could easily yield a more balanced sports car.

"Now I know how..."
