Seriously, that pass by Bottas over Gutierrez in the esses was absolutely magnificent. Sure, the lead spots were pretty uneventful, but if you're actually watching the rest of the field there was a lot of great racing going on...

Actually, my DVR recording cut out all of Q2/3 for me. First it was 30 minutes of Olympic Curling that had somehow gone into OT(riveting stuff, that), then all of Q1, a commercial break, then bam, I'm watching Vettel pull out that last 0.1 sec to take Pole.
There was actually a whole post dedicated to the question of what a Sports Car actually is... here it is!
This^
I had a strong suspicion the track was anamanaguchi, but was too lazy to be arsed to find the song, so thanks for this!!
I found the fact that I got a Battlefield 4 ad before this video to be very humorous.
I tend to agree w/ Nick about the VO. Toss in a one or two really brief statements about what the car is doing during a particular moment in the run, and be silent for the rest of the run.
Also, because race car.
Huh, I was just recently talking to a friend about how Titanfall would be the one game that might make me look into a next-gen console.
Yeah I just noticed that in the video above. That second orange ring is a really simple way of letting you know the "safe/recommended" rev limit of the engine from a cold start.
This bugged me on first viewing too, but then I went back and watched it again.
I'd almost say it looks too much like an Aston up front, but wow dat rear. I would I love it if the car came out like this...
So during my second viewing of the movie I paid particular attention to this scene.
I want a nice rig so bad, I just can't mentally justify one at this point.
Yeah, I'm not sure if I really buy the reality of that explanation myself, but that's what the movie was going for and it worked on me at the time, so I'm not going to complain too much.
A Documentary or Short Film is not the same thing as a Feature-length Film depicting a fictional story. If there has actually been a Feature Film shot entirely in space (not just the upper atmosphere like some scenes from Apollo 13), and not starring actual astronauts, I'd really love to know what it is.
The response is a bit late but I figured, hey why not.
I used to live in an apartment that had terrible ventilation from the kitchen. Every time we tried to cook a steak or use the oven without pointing a fan directly at the smoke detector nearby, the infernal thing would trip, even with every window in the place open.
One then wonders what else they're testing in Webber's car at the moment, what with all the fires and breakdowns he's been having lately...
True enough, but I would also add the possibility of someone just being a complete ass on the road, no matter what speed.
