I agree with the bad regulator. In my many years working at the auto parts store, I noticed that a lot of Chrysler voltage regulators are prone to diode failures, causing the alternating current naturally produced by the alternator to not be rectified to DC. This can lead to a lot of the problems you’ve been seeing
