That's...exactly what it would be.

Me too, high five! I guess that's not a good thing though.

Well, I meant in the US market. And that's disappointing that they're rubbish!

As a Subaru employee, I want Mitsubishi to make a new Evo with 400hp so Subaru will actually be motivated to do something about it.

Dealer telling a driver to drive fast is a no no. Can you imagine the lawsuits from asshats who would get into accidents?

And here is a guy who tested hard break in procedure vs the manual.

Actually, continuously varying rpm will help the rings seat. More so if you hit redline once in a while(this does not mean all day, every day). It's just the new FB motors, I've had a few Imprezas coming in for service with a low oil condition.

To achieve 300hp, no it wouldn't be hard. To achieve the same balance with 300 hp, yes it would. The chassis was designed with a 200hp powertrain in mind, and to achieve that low center of gravity and suspension balance would require a redesign. Go ahead and slap on a turbo setup if you want, but don't expect it to

I guess according to you, the Miata sucks too?

Nope, we usually get paid half :/

Especially potato and macaroni salad! Although I guess those aren't really salads.

I was going over there to comment, but when I saw the general topic of the comment section, I decided to stay far away from that place.

They're moving just as fast in May it seems. The dealer I work at consistently has new Foresters arriving, and it's given me PDIs for days on end to do. Heck, the last shipment had 9 Foresters alone, and a new shipment came in a few days later!

Cooling systems can handle much more BTUs now and aluminum transfers heat much better than the old cast iron blocks. Thermostats still open at the same temperature as they used to. If anything, the engines are even more reliable now due to advances in precision manufacturing technology.

Actually the WRX is more than 3200lbs, but just by a hair.

All very good options. IS-F is probably your best bet for longevity. CTS V does have the ease of working on a LS motor though. You have quite an enviable decision to make!

2006 Acura RSX

A large part of the issue is that it seems most consumers don't know jack squat about maintaining their cars anymore. A WRX came into the shop 2 quarts low on oil and well below the low mark on coolant. On the plus side, it got there without being towed.

Same thing, really.

That would be Lyft.
