Happy Bastille Day, everyone!
Happy Bastille Day, everyone!
There are certainly Jaguars which would be sublime with electric power, but they’re the saloons not the sports cars. In the sports cars, the sound, smell, and tactility of the powertrain is part of the object of the exercise, whereas in the saloons the goal is maximum waft, with effortless go when required.
I’m sorry but to my mind this is wrong.
Well, if legendary doesn’t have to mean power, then I nominate the Austin/BMC/British Leland/Rover/et al A series 1275. Built from 1951 until 2000 (perhaps longer?), it’s been used in an astonishing number of vehicles, including my favorite - the Mini.
The Jaguar XK6 engine. This inline 6 was used in the XK150, E-Type, and various sedans.
Mileage isn’t as important as condition
As I said in my comment, this is still quite low for a air-cooled manual 911 in good condition. Mileage isn’t as important as condition, especially if the previous owner has been treating it well with proper maintenance.
Don’t know why there’s so many initial CP votes, but I’m on the NP side.
911s are fun cars. None of them ever have working A/C at least until you get to the 993 model. Unfortunately, the 911 market is also batshit and the only worse 911 than a targa SC is any body style of the 2.7 that preceded it.
They left 500 kph on the table, just like that?
And this people is why we cant have nice things. When it started Uber was a side gig for people that already have jobs to make a few bucks on the side. Then a bunch of people decided to do it full time and bitch about how the system doesn’t work as they assume it should. Uber/Lyft didnt do anything to discourage this…
I realize I may be in the minority here, but Uber/Lyft were founded by software bros looking for cheaper rides home from the bar. They were, and have not been profitable, and are going to stay afloat just long enough for the bigwigs to make their dough before they sell out and split, leaving the drivers to scrabble…
Ariel is 16 in the original Disney movie....if people are outraged it should be about a 16 year old girl getting married to a man of unknown age, not what color her skin is. JFC people are stupid.
I don’t think this was a good way for Koenigsegg to correct the record. They should have tweeted, “Quick jump on this One:1 before Bonham’s figures out how much it’s really worth”... which would have alerted Koenigsegg’s Saudi clientele, that follow their Twitter page, this auction is coming up and they need to bid…
I use Uber all the time. Destroying a business that brings value to millions is not a good goal to pursue. It’s effective because it’s reliable, except for the occasional surge pricing. You couldn’t rely on it if the fares fluctuated much, if you had to wait for the best rate because the hungrier driver is further…
