No WRX? Performance-wise it’s the best option and it’s even practical.

For safety!

The kid had more options actually:

Velocity relative to the road, I presume.

So, I live in Central America and a good part of the used car market here is totaled cars from the US that are dubiously repaired here before sale. Flooded cars without crash damage would probably not be so bad, my DD was in a moderate flood 7 years ago and it still works pretty well.

Excuse potato quality, took this one of my dad driving an XK140 a few years ago.

It’s easy to get there, restoring a car takes a LOT of work and determination. My dad and I have been working steadily for a couple of hours a day on his Jag for more than a year and it doesn’t even nearly look like a car yet.

I just finished restoring mine!

Yeah I was wondering how that must look under the hood, basically a Venture with a sock in it’s pants then.

It doesn’t look like a truck though, it looks like a pregnant Venture so if they were going for more “masculine” they got exactly the opposite.

I wonder what it looks like under the hood, probably still Venture mechanicals so I’m presuming just a bunch of empty space.

I’m convinced this is just a Chevy Venture with an extra foot of length added at the front for, reasons? Looks like one of those weird redneck 2 car mashups, but done by the factory.

If you’re always driving in traffic so heavy that the engine is starting and stopping constantly I think it’s time to seriously consider an electric car.

This is the wrong place to say it but the CVT in my mom’s Forester is actually surprisingly good; much smoother than many automatics even.

Yup, I was noticing the bumps on the course don’t seem way too big; watching this guy try it on something like a WRC car would be awesome.

Nice try

Yup, or about a third of a much slower, less reliable car.

Dual carb anything is always a hassle, even with flow meters and everything I always fear both carbs won’t be set up exactly the same.

They need to be smaller; if I run out of gas I know I can walk or hitch a ride to a gas station, get a gallon of gas, get back to the car and then drive it on that gallon to the station.

Wonder if Pur Sang still does the engines this way or if they’ve switched over to shells.
