I remember the exhaust note on NFS U was perfect, it would echo through the mountains and even had a nice shift sound. “Riders on the storm”

I have to make a mention for auto modellista which was a beautiful looking game even if it didn’t have all the bells and whistles. On the c64 (if you want to go back farther) I used to play speed buggy and racing destruction set. On the SNES I liked Top Gear.

Wow, I can still hear the old "Daaay-TOOOO-naaaaaa!" as I spent hours in the arcade. Those were the days.

shame the n64 was so terrible, the arcade version is the tits.

I have always said that R4 Ridge Racer Type 4 is THE BEST RACING GAME OF ALL TIME. The graphics, the physics, the locales, even the soundtrack...in my mind nothing will ever match it.

I’ve got a $1300 laptop built specifically for gaming.

Home office so not hiring, I do recommend playing it on a large screen though

Mine is currently in my N64 hooked to a projection HD T.V. from the early 2000’s in my office. Great game even now.

These graphics once blew my mind, and the size of the cartridge was immense.

I had this loaded up on my old DOS/Win 3.1 machine up until about 2 years ago and still played it with the old serial port steering wheel. The set-up options for the car were intense, everything from wing down force to PSI in the tires, brake bias, it was nuts.
