Half the reason I'm a car person is due to GT. It's a great platform for the rare, historical, and obscure.

They profiled a guy in Japan on Speedhunters who took one of these, converted it to full Rothmans livery, and even changed the panels to race car spec, and drives it on the street.

Isdera Imperator, a Mercedes based supercar that basically brought the C111 back to life.

I nominate the Lotus Elise GT1. Because Need for Speed II.

I'll nominate the 1995 Ferrari FX. Based on the F512M, but only 7 built, and ALL of them for the Sultan of Brunei! I'm not even sure Ferrari themselves will acknowledge the existence of this car yet.

The answer is, of course, the Vector W8. 22 cars produced over five years. Good luck ever seeing one in public. And good luck explaining what it is to anyone else you happen to be with when you see it.
