Filler doesn't have to nonsensical, and the entire arc certainly didn't have to end nonsensically either. After torturing us for an entire season, they could've at least given us a satisfying resolution.

This actually looks …. decent? Kristen Wigg and Melissa Macarthy are both funny per usual. And McKinnon and Jones seem pretty funny too. I'm (cautiously) optimistic about this one.

How did Smallville stay around for 10 seasons??? It was basically Dawson's Creek with occasional super power stuff. OK, I admit it. I watched it, but was I high at the time? Was TV really that bad back then and there was literally nothing else on?
