A lead role in a film obviously does not guarantee that someone becomes bankable. Preferentially casting white actors over actors of color does guarantee that actors of color will have a more difficult time becoming bankable.

Please stop citing the list of “top billed” actors in the movie. That is non-logic, as will be revealed to you if you pause for one moment and ask yourself whether Mark Hamill had a larger or smaller role than Daisy Ridley.
