I actually just got a prescription for PrEP today, and despite living in New York and having insurance, it’s sort of a bitch to get. All told, I was probably at my clinic for about 2.5 hours between testing, going over the details of the drug, etc.- and that doesn’t take into account the two follow up appointments

I really like it! To be fair the first time I had it, I was stoned, so anything probably would have worked, but since then I’ve had it and it gets the job done. It definitely doesn’t replace actual ice cream, but I still think it’s tasty. Then again, I grew up in a house where we ate/drank diet versions of everything,

I don’t disagree that it’s tiresome to see straight people lauded and made rich off of queer pain. But he’s far from the first straight man to play it (and he can’t be worse than Justin Kirk was) and Tony Kushner doesn’t really seem to have an issue with it- I’m almost sure I read somewhere that he personally asked

Gay man who loves Angels in America here, and this whole thing feels overblown. At worst I’d say it was a clumsy thing to say, but basically well-intentioned and not worth the energy to condemn. I think it’s worth mentioning that the character he’s playing is literally in drag in the play and is clearly inspired by

A friend of mine worked with Seinfeld on a project and said Seinfeld wouldn’t shake his hand. Apparently he said that he was sick, but was really weird about the whole thing. I myself am not the biggest hugger, but it seems like he doesn’t like to touch whatsoever- I feel like a handshake is not that much to ask for.

With this 100%. I would rather have a good slice of pie than a dry and boring cupcake. Or a really good slice of poundcake. And now I’m hungry for any kind of dessert (except a cupcake).

I know this isn’t really the focus of the article (although I agree the buttons are kind of useless), but has anyone else noticed MTA service getting progressively worse over the past six or seven months? Sure, trains aren’t infallible and delays can happen, but it feels like every day I end up getting stuck for a

Remember when everyone got upset at that guy who yelled at her on a plane? A common defense was that she was off-limits because she was just his daughter and wasn’t actively part of his administration.

It feels like we’re already into the “It’s a distraction- focus on Russia/healthcare/Bannon/etc!!” feedback loop, which I continue to find exhausting. I do wish Maddow had something a little more substantial, but should she not have reported on it? It feels like more energy could be directed to remaining outraged

It truly is amazing that this happened. I mean, yeah the *way* it happened was bonkers, but I can’t believe a movie like Moonlight actually won Best Picture.

Really loving Eureka, Sasha, and Peppermint. Jaymes is positively mesmerizing as well. Curious about Aja (who’s gorgeous) and Alexis, who seems like a more polished Jinkx. Kimora and Valentina impressed me the least- I get a serious Gia Gunn vibe from Kimora, and not in a good way.

Yup, this has been my issue for a while. I tried all of his offices two days in a row at different times and still couldn’t even leave a message. If you look him up on FB or Twitter it’s the same thing- every message there is urging him to vote against DeVos and asking why they can’t get through to leave a message. I
