Last time I was caught double-fisting on kiss cam, my date and I got kicked out of the Ice Capades. The times they are a-changin'.

I’m voting for the candidate whose ideologies most closely align with my own, in the hopes that a strong showing will be a message to future candidates that there is value in supporting true liberal policies.

But then who would you all make sandwiches for?

So you liked Cochella before it was cool, huh?

I am so jealous of you right now!! Jeopardy is my dream and also the only way I’ll ever break into something resembling middle class!

From personal experience (three wins, January-February 2009): The contestants hate ‘em too.

“So, ideasleepfuriously, I hear that you have an interesting hobby.”

Holy moly, do I HATE the interviews on Jeopardy. I was telling my wife the other day about my fantasy of how that would go down if I was ever on the show:

Now playing

ETA: I just stumbled on this and my life is so much better now.

Kidding you? Nope. She didn’t mention abortion. Do you think Hillary wants this question, “For both candidates, do you support the right of a woman to choose to have an abortion at any time and for any reason?”

She wants to talk about choice and Planned Parenthood and make sure not to ever get too far from offending

Maybe it's a male stripper factory.

I kind of disagree though the stripper factory nonsense is rather silly. The Satanists try too hard to be in your face and shocking while the FSM has a whimsicality that is enjoyable. I teach World Religions and the students seem to get a kick out of the FSM.

I would add that by allowing the Republicans to frame the issue without any pushback on facts, movitations, even verbage, the media is, in many ways, even more accountable.

Yes but she was wrong to do so.

That would work if women were actually people. These folks truly believe that the presence of sperm in a uterus means that the sperm-donator has staked a legal claim.

By refusing to ask the Democrats about abortion, our major media sources allow Republicans to continue to control the conversation.

Simple. Women aren’t people.

Should probably try to reformulate the pro-choice argument in the south so that it’s less about women’s rights (which they don’t give a damn about) and try to make it sound more like property rights or gun rights (which they do care about).

This is what they should have gone with, but I suspect they were afraid of similar backlash as the Akira movie got when they announced they were moving the setting to the US.

Sadly, that’s because Americans most likely wouldn’t go see a mostly Japanese live-action GitS.
