I got that talk yesterday. hypertensive, on the edge of pre-diabetic, in addition to constant fatigue from a sleep disorder and IBS. most stimulants will push my heart over the edge, fatigue keeps me from decent exercise, a healthier diet triggers is an option but can trigger the IBS leading to nutrient deficiency.

Sometimes it takes a few revs of the engine. I think that many people who have lost weight and kept it off have a story like this where they learn that unsustainable ways don't work. It's all part of the growth process. :) Congrats—sounds like you're on the right path now.

Can we add a line about if people are really, truly concerned about you, try to step back and re-examine what you're doing and why. I ask for this pause for self-reflection because, in reading over the Greatist article, what struck me immediately was - this is life with an eating disorder. People worrying about your

With me, its just the opposite. I am a big guy, with horrible eating habits. But, I also work out when I can. The whole "You should be happy with who you are" drives me nuts because I AM happy with who I am, but that doesn't mean that hitting the weights or the bike means I have a poor self image.

And Dr. Oz.

Thanks, Oprah, for inflicting Dr. Phil on our national culture.

That's the sound of their audience's pacemakers seizing up.

You can almost hear the champagne corks popping.

Jon Stewart always gave me a way to work through the anger and frustration and ridiculousness and wrongdoings of politics and people. Whatever awful thing had happened, you could watch him and even though the problem didn't get better, you at least could work through it and just go "Ya, somebody fucking gets it." And

They don't go into details here but I'm guessing it was some kind of anesthesia.

Life is an affliction with a 100% mortality rate. Reality sucks.

Nah, you're a regular, and you weren't a dick about it. Of course I'm not going to ban you.

He turns to his bright-eyed eight year old, sitting but two feet from me, and says, "You see son? This is why you should stay in school."(FFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU)

all this reminds me of sony walkman back in the 80s.

Just a public service announcement to you over sensitive feminists out there looking for men to hate...

It is warming. The fight is about is it human caused/accelerated or just normal cycle. In any case the seas are rising, land is flooding, weather more pronounced. We have to deal with those changes regardless of cause. Again the fight is about do we do anything about 7-8 Billion humans and their activities.

Most of the world calls it "climate change" now because derps like you can't grasp the fact that "global warming" =/= "every day is hot forever".

The rest of the enlightened world does as well. The only people that don't believe in it, are, well, in fact glue-huffing apes.
