I kinda want to put one of these in a Miata:
A bus pass
According to that scale on your map, planes are also much bigger today than they used to be.
Remember when gas/oil prices went up really high and flight prices skyrocketed because of it? And they crammed more seats on planes and charged us heavy fees for bags? Then fuel/oil prices dropped drastically and the flight prices never went down and fees never went away? Fuck everything about the airlines.
I prefer to get my SS the old-fashioned way: By stealing it from an Australian repair shop, shipping it back to the US in a container full of Vietnamese designer knockoff purses, then rebadging it as a Chevy.
ATM: Ass To Mouth
Meh, I’d still rather have the Porsche. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Is there any random fact a salesman won’t make up.
Exactly, every MPG helps with the fleet average!
FCA cars have something similar. I think when you turn it on it says “Maintenance required”
What a beautiful and visually interesting car but at 3,800 lbs, that thing weighs more than my midsize sedan. WTF?
15.
I come from the land of the polite, where sh!t’s covered in ice.
And when I’m down in the states they’re like, “You’re too f*ck’en nice!”
WRX’s aren’t money pits. Mine has been the most reliable and affordable car I’ve owned. I’ve had mine (2004 wagon) for nine years, the maintenance I’ve done has been only routine with the exception of a rear wheel bearing replacement and 1 set of brake pads. The same can’t be said of my friends high strung Evos.
I have a Baja, does that count?
Fun is all good - but the reason Toyota is kicking ass while Nissan is solidly mid-pack seems to be more about Toyota’s way of cutting costs being compatible with (and, you could argue, directly related to) class leading reliability and longevity and low cost of ownership, whereas Nissan’s approach leads to at best…
Can I get a tow hitch on that thing?
Ford will sell you a Fiesta ST for reasonable money, no doubt because they know that it might keep you coming back over the years. In fact, that’s exactly what happened to a British friend of mine: he bought a regular Fiesta when he got married, a Focus after his second kid, and now is seriously considering a Mondeo…
I expect to see a lot of these in ditches near Dodge dealerships. Also lots of damaged trees/telephone poles. And maybe an insurance premium penalty for living near a Dodge dealership. All of these things will be good for Dodge.
Well, they have the Chrysler 200 and Dodge Dar......yeah nevermind :D
