It'd be pretty strong on the cruelty bingo front - but I don't think Bran is going to be evil. That seems like one of the things Melisandre is supposed to be wrong about.

Didn't happen, but Bran has fantasized about the idea of kissing and touching Meera while in Hodor's body. I don't think he'll do it, and I don't think he would understand the consequences either. But it would probably be rape (of both Hodor and Meera), and I'm just scared that that's the type of gratuitously shocking…
Things I want from Bran's storyline:
I don't know if the guy sitting behind me during Sherlock Holmes: Game of Shadows was black, but his voice made me suspect that he was. Either way, he was louder than I would normally like people to be during a movie, but it was all worth it during the climactic scene at the Reichenbach Falls.
But if you have to misstate a quote from a Veep character, it's very appropriate that it be from Richard.
His middle name is John, but that actually made your comment more Richard-y, so I think we should go with it.
Thanks for this Peemster
If you get rid of Arianne, Quentyn, Sarella at the Citadel, and the existence of the marriage pact with Viserys, you're left with…this, which is basically inaction for its own sake, pointless seduction, and Pattycake. It really is staggeringly badly done by the showrunners.
Nihilism gets really tiring. I'm just tired.
Which is kinda funny cause they borrowed from Mercy already with the particulars of the scene at the inn with her and The Hound (recreating Lommy's lines, etc.). But it makes sense in context.
Honest Trailers are kinda funny, but the narrator's voice is so incredibly annoying. If almost anybody else voiced them I'd like them a lot, but as it is they're hard to listen to.
They already did the show's equivalent of the Mercy chapter with Polliver - well at least the Lommy callback. But they could do the *shudder* other part
I actually think Friday Night Lights would be more enjoyable if you don't care about football; as a football fan it actually gets frustrating how unrealistic the football scenes are.
There is not room in this big, wide world for people who think "AD" is American Dad and not Arrested Development,
Ok there are a billion comments on here and I'm sure somebody has already said this many times, but I didn't watch Community for way too long because of how dickish so many people around here were about how much better it was than Big Bang Theory and other shows. Of course, when I finally did watch Community, I…
Unequivocal yes.
This is good - and it underscores how necessarily much Selina dominates the show, because she and her daughter are the only upstairs characters you cast and it's pretty tough to cast other ones. I can't think of anybody on Veep for Cora, or Matthew, or *starting to cry* Sybil.
One of them's a lot of fun, the other one gets really tiring after a while.
Sorry for the confusion, that should be read as "cyni" "semen", as in masturbatory cynicism.
Could the A.V. Club commentariat appreciate ONE thing without coating it in a viscous molasses-y layer of cynisemen? This is a really fun book, and maybe the movie will be fun too. You're allowed to like things.
