I can't help but think of The Stand, especially during the first season, and even that B-movie miniseries adaptation of The Stand is sooo superior to The Walking Dead.

No freakin' way.

Haven't finished reading the review. Had to jump down here and point out — Plan B does not abort pregnancies. Even taking multiple pills will not make someone who is pregnant enough for it to register on a pee stick un-pregnant. I couldn't buy that storyline, too stupid and nonsensical, the writers are obviously all

I understand all the criticisms detailed here but I still enjoyed this episode way more than last week's. I thought the bee people were cheesy with their yellow-and-black outfits and iPhone cases. This episode had suspenseful scenes and a pretty intense plot. The thing that got me most, though, was that the exterior

Genius.

1. Someone will be able to answer this for me. Have Barney and Nora had sex yet? I don't recall.
2. Do you figure Kevin knows exactly what happened? It can't be a surprise, right, considering that he met Robin in the context of hearing about how she wanted Barney. How is that not keeping him up at night?

So uncomfortable! After the intro, when it seems like maybe Marshall will try to keep from Lily that he's stoned at the concert, I turned to my boyfriend and said "This is going to be one tense episode."

I dunno about Vancouver, Canada, but I live in Portland, Oregon, and OUR 'Couve, Vancouver, Washington, directly north of us (just a couple exits up the 5) is often referred to as such. What I wondered about this episode was — did we know Robin was from Vancouver before? I assumed she was from some small rural town.

I missed the first ten minutes of the episode and I'm looking forward to rewatching it because all the stray observations must have come from the first ten minutes — I didn't see any of them except Temple Grandin — and they're funny.

I came here expecting a C grade, I'm surprised at the review! My biggest complaint is with Cobie Smulder's lack of chemistry with Kal Penn. I expected one of the characters to comment on the fact that in the nursery, Robin and Barney were such a team, sparks flying as usual, while Kevin was ignored and certainly not

Also,
what do you guys think of the upcoming finale? I'm totally holding out for Barney and Robin: http://whosright.com/poll/h…. Although I just read a thing with Carter Bays that said they would only show either the bride or groom at the wedding, not the couple… cheap! Who knew this show would string us along so!

I'm not sure
that Zoey's gone. I know voice-over Ted said they'd have a messy breakup — was that messy enough? I want her to come back at him with some crazy antics so they can have a real blow-out, not just her storming away in that ridiculous green jumpsuit thing. I'm suspicious that it's not over.

@master pea no way! that was just a paralell they threw in — it was supposed to evoke Jim's proposal, but Michael had been so down on Jim's proposal earlier in the ep. Michael would have wanted it to go off without a hitch — impossible, of course, so I thought the sprinklers were a good touch.

Great review!
Thanks for the comprehensive review, I can see you put some thought and time into it. I guess you're right that the Dwight and Jim prank plot was pretty formulaic, but that didn't keep me from cracking up. Those two fall into those roles so easily and so well. I liked that they relied on Tender Michael

I had to read this like three times before I got it. And now? I'VE WASTED MY LIFE.

I saw that too, I totally agree! I only saw about 30 seconds and it was enough to detect some imitation happening there.

I wasn't crazy about it
Maybe if the plots had been stronger I would have dug it — I thought Frank and Susan Sarandon were just annoying. Angie isn't funny. And I agree that maybe I would have enjoyed it more if I knew more about the reality TV it attempted to parody, but I can't say I regret not knowing the ins and
