I know, what on earth was THAT about. Tom has gotten shot down - deservedly - so many times for being an overly aggressive creep, I can't believe they're letting it slide this time. Did Lucy never ask why Andy isn't living in Chicago now, since that was supposed to be the reason they were creeping outside her office

There are women out there who will totally dig that you've definitely done gay stuff, and a lot of gay stuff. I love my boyfriend but I can't guarantee I wouldn't trade him in for a hot bisexual dude.

I just read her memoir and I thought it was great - much more of an actual story than anything that was in Amy Poehler's book.

Aw I love her writing! Hostages was great, I've bookmarked it to reread occasionally.

Well put, I agree with this. I don't think the movie or book is inherently misogynist just because the female pro/antagonist is an insane, evil character. I do balk at the inclusion of faked raped accusations, because viewers predisposed to thinking the worst of women may take that as evidence that women really do go

Like Sonia, i had a lot of teenage boys asking "like the car in Gone in 60 Seconds?" when I told them my name is Eleanor. I also get awkward recitals of "Eleanor Rigby."

Yeah I felt the same way! As soon as he was past puberty it was like you could see him doing his damnedest to ACT. The other actors in the early teenage years were just as bad, especially in the scene in the unfinished house. Not one line of dialogue was delivered convincingly.

This movie was long, boring and completely lacking a plot, conflict or anything resembling a climax. The characters were bland and their relationships superficial. Maybe my age prevents me from appreciating this? (27) I did like the pop culture clues - I was 15 when that Coldplay song that opened the film was popular

oh man I'm three quarters of the way through and shit is CRAZY. it's really good.

I have The Marriage Plot on my Kindle but haven't read it yet - you recommend it?

I'm on a nonfiction kick and I've been reading on my Kindle for the first time in the two years I've owned it. I'm taking a road trip to a handful of US National Parks this summer so I read Shattered Air about a fatal lightening strike on top of the Half Dome in Yosemite, and then just finished Jon Krakauer's Into

that show went on for eight seasons?i agree though, i always found it interesting

really? i mean, is it good?

Brand New. Why aren't they more popular? They're amazing.

I buy the analysis about Jack doing the same thing Beverly did. And I'm afraid Alana's really and truly oblivious.

Used to be you could access all the articles that mentioned a given show from the same page as the show's episode reviews. I think that feature went away with the redesign - I haven't found it again, anyway.

I find it great that Chilton and Lounds, meant to be the least likeable characters, are the only two who haven't eaten Hannibal's meat dishes.
