Cautionary tale of why the direct sales model isn’t all that wonderful in many situations.

*Raises hand*

I wouldn’t believe this of Ford. They have had a steller reputation when it comes to handling of recalls to prevent vehicle fires dating back decades.

Given how the Charger’s sound isn’t recorded that well in the reveal vid, I’m giving it the benefit of the doubt because:

The Hornet may very well be a much better all-around car than the Dart, and of course it will benefit from being an SUV and not a small car, which Americans have always been predisposed to hate.

I have a SRT Challenger. I like this EV. Doubt I’ll buy it, but who knows. At least you’ll get some likes for your post letting everyone else on Jalopnik you’re part of their circle.

How dare they keep rolling out vehicles that continue to sell year over year. Seriously, what a bunch of clowns.

I was reading reactions on Instagram and people are like, “hurr, durr, not V8, so much sux, lolz it gunna fail.” Look, I love a V8 like any enthusiast but the times are changing. These were the same people whining when the Charger came out as a four door. Hell, I remember when the Charger was FWD in the 80's. I think

right but this:

Unlike other EVs its not fake speaker noise. It actually sends wind through a pipe system and based on throttle position changes the pitch.

Since the ME Four Twelve is taken, I’ll swing the Mopar-that-could-have-been pendulum to the other end, and pick the Dodge Demon concept.

Chrysler Atlantic.

F air suspensions if you’re not leasing the car.

“No amount of Alcantara can hide that the Tonale and Hornet are variations of the same car.”

Both Daimler products. shit management gives you shit products...

  1. Without pushing the brake pedal, push the ENGINE START/STOP button and cycle the ignition to ON/RUN position (do not start the engine).

even when they’re plowing through groups of people leaving cars and coffee

Later Challengers are pretty far removed from the first few years. They handle better than they’ve got any right to.  At a burly 4,000+ lbs, it ain’t a Miata, but they do a good job of mitigating the weight, particularly in the higher-trim versions.

Maybe the article was edited, but it mentions Sublime green.
