Yeah, cause we should totally take care of the small percentage, instead of the bigger things, like... Idk, being able to see.

You don’t understand how competition works apparently.  I don’t have time to explain basic econ to you.

Yeah, none of this is true... and the only reason you can buy vehicles as cheap as you can is because of dealerships who “add nothing” (which is completely false) and the fact they have to compete not only with other brands, but with other dealerships in their own brand.

As someone who doesn’t like purple much, but has a plum crazy Challenger... I agree.

Any time someone has to go on about sexuality or endowment of someone who likes a car, especially on a car forum, all it tells me is that whoever makes those statements is VERY insecure in themselves and should go seek help for that.

Can’t imagine what banning the sale of gas would do for california’s tourism industry, which, lets be honest, is a MAJOR part of their economy.

I love the thought of bi-directional charging, nothing better than having my EV plugged in so that I am ready to go and the car is, and I get in and the battery is depleted because California can’t build an electrical grid and shunned nuclear energy like it was leprosy.

Yeah, I’m not the one being intentionally obtuse here. For a VERY large part of the population, the routes and schedules don’t work and they still HAVE to have a car... but you’ve glossed over that part of my argument in an effort to say “well it worked for me, so obviously its great for everyone!”

Again, its not

GDP is falling, inflation is rising, full time jobs are disappearing... But no, no recession here.  However if a Republican, any republican had the presidency, it would be a completely different story and the world be ending at the awful recession we are in.

You believe that taxes haven’t been raised on the poor and won’t be again?
You do realize what Biden’s inflationary plans are doing to low income earners, yeah? Guess who gets the money? the people collecting taxes... You see, that ground beef that was $4... and is now $10? Yeah, thats extra tax money.
And again, by

Wait, you think its not a recession cause there are job openings? There are plenty of people to fill those jobs, and they’re not being counted in the unemployment cause they aren’t looking for work...  You can’t be this dumb.  Its not possible.

Ah, so you want to give them the “benefits” of not being able to get anywhere quickly and having to rely on others so that you can feel safer.  How very elitest.

That is the point... thats the entire point. So many people who can’t afford to both drive and pay more in taxes would be taxed more but can’t use what they’re being taxed for.
Yall socialists are so weird.  You wanna help the poor by hurting them.

Of course you don’t see the hurt of it, cause you’ve never been in that situation. I have. I have been in a situation where $8/mth meant the world to me...
Why is everyone’s goal always to tax the rich when the rich pay most of the taxes?  Do you feel the bottom 80% of income earners shouldn’t pay ANY taxes?  Cause

You technically can print a gun at home that would work for more than a few rounds, but in a roundabout way that requires a lot of high level machining and sand casting... so... lets just say no one is printing effective guns at home. I can kill as efficiently with a toothbrush and a rock as a knife, neither will show

Uh, except costs would go up significantly.  For a variety of reasons... so thats even MORE tax money.

Oh, socialism.  even better.  /S

A very large percentage of people travel well beyond the limits of public transportation. Or public transportation takes significantly longer than a personal vehicle. Like me, public transportation to my job takes over 3x longer than a car... so let me ask you this, would you give up an extra 3 hours of your day for

Plus you can recycle the materials used in engines and transmissions... not so much with batteries.

Well, consumers COULD choose that and many of us do as much as possible.  But while Amazon et al exist, it is becoming increasingly harder.
