On the flip side, given that supply and demand is not working in the favor of buyers, is it a better time to get out of a sedan and into something else?

The combined monthly payment for mine and my wife’s cars was just over $500 when we were paying on both of them. My wife’s car was paid off late last year and since then, I have been “paying” the same amount into a savings account to be used for car related expenses (repairs, down payment on next car, etc.). I can’t

Thanks. So far, this year has not been nearly as good, but still significantly better than any sort of regular savings account or CD.

You can get much better returns than that with a 529. Last year, the one I have set up for my daughter returned over 20% (it was an abnormally good year). 529's are not tied to CDs or other normal savings accounts, so when the market is good, you get good returns.

I would have to disagree on two points.

Toy Story Land is not yet open. It opens at the end of June. HS does have a Toy Story ride, but it is not the full Toy Story Land. Until then, HS is half a park and is not really worth going just yet. There are a couple good things for younger kids (Frozen, Disney Jr. area, etc.) as well as a couple things for adults

I would agree if you are vacationing. But as a local who lives less than 20 minutes away and also has annual passes, the experience for the parents and my daughter was worth it. It’s definitely not for everyone, or even for most people who visit the parks, but it was supprisingly comparable in price to what it would

Saving money:

My understanding is that the child is typically covered under the mother’s insurance plan for a certain period of time (I think 30 days). During that time, if you enroll the child in a different health insurance, you just let the hospital and respective insurance companies know and they will work out how to process

Good to know. Saving a screenshot typically isn’t too hard, but it’s good to know that they are keeping a record of those conversations on their end too.

I have heard before that the cap is one full year per paid year. I am at that amount right now but have not had any late deliveries lately to test whether or not they will continue extending my membership.

I can vouch for the fact that they still offer the additional months of Prime membership for late shipments. I last paid for my Prime membership on July 26, 2016. Due to multiple late shipments since then and with contacting customer service each time, I will not be charged for my Prime membership again until July 26,

I still see the email option. To get here, I scroll all the way to the bottom to the list of options at the bottom of the page. Click “help”. On the next pack, at the bottom of the “recommended topics” list, select “need more help” and then “contact us”. Select the order you are having problems with, select “where’s

I typically use the email function and specifically ask for an extension to my Prime membership and it works almost every time (there have been a few times when they have said they can’t provide the extension for some reason but credit my account $5 to make up for the late delivery).

If you buy stuff on Amazon, get a late shipment and choose not to contact customer service about it to try to get either the shipping costs refunded (which is their standard policy) or to get an extension to your Prime membership, that is on you.

You should have followed up with them. I have multiple examples of their great customer service. One includes when an item that was listed as a two pack arrived with only one item (replacement caps for a mop with attached bottle for cleaner). I contacted customer service and they saw that the pictures, description,

Wife is a teacher, so if anyone wants a more legit way to use the educational discount, just send me your order and your credit card info and I’ll have the stuff shipped to my your house right away.

Married, in my 20's in Orlando. I pay just under $1,800 to insure both mine and my wife’s cars. For just my car (‘14 Mazda 6), it’s $960 per year, and that is for much better coverage (100k/300k BI, 50k PD, $500 deductibles) than the example.

If for some reason the delivery date changed after you ordered, reach back out to Amazon customer service and request a month be added to your Prime membership. This is standard for late shipments and I have done it successfully on many occasions (I believe the cap is 12 months free in a given year and I am currently

This app has been around for a while now. While I usually forget about it when out and about, I have used it recently while at home as a way to watch and hear the TV while my wife is sleeping or doing work on the computer in our room (similar to how you can use headphones with the Roku for “private listening”).
